The accident occurred in a high-rise building in Hell’s Kitchen, an area of ​​Manhattan home to famous restaurants.

The water poured for about 25 to 30 minutes. The Fire Department of the City of New York (FDNY), who responded to the report at around 12:15 p.m., shut off the building’s water supply and stopped the water gushing around 12:30.
