A new case image has been leaked, giving a glimpse of the rear design of Apple’s next iPhone 16 series to be released this fall.

On the 22nd, tipster Sony Dixon released an image of a case equipped with a dummy model of the iPhone 16 series through the X (formerly Twitter) account. The two dummy models are believed to be iPhone 16 and iPhone 16 Pro Max models, respectively.

The rear design of the iPhone 16 Pro Max is the same as the previous model, but the iPhone 16 camera cutout has been changed to be vertical rather than diagonal like the iPhone 15. It is similar to the iPhone X camera design.

Additionally, both models have added a cutout for a new button below the power button, which is presumed to be the cutout for the rumored capture button. According to previous reports, the iPhone 16 capture button can sense multiple levels of pressure like a digital camera second-stage button.

Basically, it can capture an image or video, and with a light or half-press, the user can lock and adjust focus. Additionally, it is reported that the capture button will also support zoom in and zoom out functions.
